Best Lightweight Single Stroller

It is the lightest and smallest stroller that you can buy. Its sleek design is simple to fold into a neat rectangle and the wheels turn more smoothly than other styles.

It also comes with a huge under-seat storage area as well as an adjustable shoulder strap that makes it easier to carry around if you're not pushing it. However, the canopy adjustment can make a lot of noise, which might disturb a sleeping toddler.

1. Contours Itsy

A compact single stroller stroller, the Contours Itsy offers lots of features for its size. The back basket under the seat is equipped with a spring-loaded mechanism, so you can pull the basket down to place a backpack or diaper bag and then it will pop up to secure its contents. It also has a child's accessory holder and an adjustable seat pad that reclines. This is more than what you find on a typical lightweight stroller.

However, we weren't impressed with the quality of its ride on rough terrain. We felt that the wheels and suspension didn't do a good job of absorbing shocks and bumps.

The stroller is great for traveling because it comes assembled in the box. It requires only just a few steps to make it ready to use. The seat can be moved forward and back to adjust the recline. It's quite flat. Two buttons on the frame make it easy to fold and unfold. It also fits into a convenient carrying bag for when it's not in use. This stroller is an excellent option for those looking for a stroller that is lightweight for travel. It has all the features that parents want in a stroller. It comes with all-terrain tires and front suspension to ensure an easy ride. It's also incredibly light at less than 12 pounds. It can be folded by one hand, and then stand up on its own. It has two cups holders on each tray to accommodate the child and parent.

Its quality is not very good, and it didn't do well in our maneuverability test. It also has a swivel frame that makes pushing it over rough surfaces feel like lifting a heavy weight. This may be okay when you use the stroller single on smooth paths, but for the majority of people, it will likely not be a pleasant experience.

The Cloud Plus has a three-tier extended canopy as well as a peek-a-boo window for added sun protection. The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate travel stroller for parents who are on the move. The compact stroller is easy to fold up and down, and fits easily in overhead compartments on planes and in trunks at amusement parks (no need to worry about parking fees). It comes with a carrying bag which zips up for easy storage. It can be used with the infant car adapter right from birth and offers good sun protection with its canopy. The only issue is that some parents find the look to be utilitarian and cheap.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ stroller is more expensive than other light single strollers. However, it was designed specifically for urban living and luxe travel. It's one of the strollers that fold easily, and comes with a handy carry case. It has plenty of storage space and a cup holder. The seat reclines almost flat for both the child and adult. This is the only stroller that can be used for infants with the car seat adapter. Some parents with short legs may not appreciate the handlebar that doesn't adjust.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it has a ton of wonderful features that help kids travel more easily. The large seat reclines to a flat position, and comes with extra padding that will make the naps on planes last longer. The extendable canopy has plenty of sun coverage and the tray that is on the back provides plenty of storage. It also has a spring-loaded handle that doubles as a footrest when folded. The footrest, however, is prone to damage by baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Mini V2

Uppababy Minu V2 is an elegant stroller with premium design and quality. Its compact design allows it to easily maneuver through narrow streets and tight spaces however its sturdy construction lets it handle rough terrain without compromising the comfort of your child. The spring-action suspension in the front and back ensures more comfort for your child, and the durable materials ensure that it will endure the wear and tear of daily use. Furthermore it can be enlarged to accommodate additional items such as baby car seat.

Even with a baby on the way, the Minu was a breeze to fold and maneuver. Its squat fold that opens into three sections was among the easiest we tested. This allows it to be easily tucked away in overhead compartments in planes and on public transport. It also has a color-coded single pro stroller-action brake that is easy to use.

The seat features an adjustable recline in multiple positions and a single-handed adjustable leg rest, which makes it easy to find the ideal position for your child. The UPF 50+ hood came down quite far, which was great for protecting Cora's eyes from sun (though not as low as other strollers). The medium-sized mesh peekaboo window is attached magnetically to the canopy and shuts without the need for noisy Velcro.

With a weight of just under 15 pounds at just under 15 pounds, the Minu is easy to carry using its built-in carry handle and shoulder strap. It can also be stowed in the trunk of your vehicle. It comes with a storage bag and access to Uppababy's TravelSafe program that provides two years of manufacturer's warranty. It also covers repairs for any items damaged during air travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy is the well-known brand of strollers offers a variety of models. This lightweight model is a good choice for parents who are looking for a workhorse stroller that carts children around, provides ample storage, is fairly simple to use and doesn't require an engineering degree to fold. This model isn't suitable for those who need a double stroller or a car-seat compatible model. It doesn't accept infant car seats. Your babies must be able sit up on their backs before they can use it.

This stroller has some solid features and a price tag. It earned a higher score in our review of maneuverability than other models with similar specs, and it's an excellent option for smooth pavements. It has a large parent tray, a canopy and plenty of storage. The handlebar is smaller than the average, and the front wheel suspension is more rigid but it's still suitable for adults.

If you have twins, or two children of different ages, you might consider a side-by-side stroller to be the best single travel stroller choice to take them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove. It has a lot of features and has a tiny footprint which means it can be placed in places where other side-byside strollers can't.

It has individually reclining seats as well as a large canopy that has a peek-a-boo window and tons of storage. It's heavier than other side-bysides however it has a good capacity to handle most kids up to 50 pounds. You can even add a bassinet to the front of the stroller for infants.
