WoW Upgrades - The item upgrader mod Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a an increase in certain stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item level Upgrade by 3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

The upgraded gear is usually more useful, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for the latter because of the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.

You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader each couple of weeks.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current level of the gear being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new gear from other sources. For example, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, purchasing a similar piece from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to level up weapons, tools, armor, and other items. They are purchased by players from NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for various currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be used on any tool, weapon or armor. The button will show the item upgrades's next upgrade level, when there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the item slot and the current item level, with weapons costing more than bracers or gloves, for example. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain level it is able to be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currencies.

Many locations have upgraders for their items which include the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade discount and a chance to get a brand new upgrade recipe. The discount on upgrades increases according to the number of items that are being upgraded. It is also possible to be boosted by having players complete some specific achievements or complete quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrader at the beginning, unlike Cromwell from Baldur's gate II. Instead, the NPCs that are available to facilitate upgrades are acquired via several methods that are both an improvement and a drawback.

In Season 3, many new features were added to the upgrade system. Once a player obtains an upgrade to a certain item upgrader mod level for a particular armor slot, upgrading further items to that same item upgrading level will cost less even if they are part of another set of gear.

The amount of Valorstones needed for upgrades is decreased, and the discount is affixed to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is reduced as well, but is only available once certain milestones are reached.

Crests

When it comes to upgrading equipment in WoW, players have a few options. Flightstones are a currency that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specific, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an important element of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System that was introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests are only able to be spent on equipment of a particular rank, and every rank has different requirements for upgrading. The most basic and straightforward upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the most complex may require as many as 20 crests depending on the type of gear that is being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through completing content at the appropriate level. This could be by doing outdoor activities, or by completing dungeons and raids in any difficulty to earn lower-level gear or Mythicbosses of raids or dungeons that have a high difficulty to obtain endgame gear. These crests are then exchanged with an upgrader for the item such as Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and routes.

The new currency system isn't too difficult to use, but it does bring some modifications to the upgrade process. When a piece attains the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This change is designed to allow players to get their gear up to the highest level possible for all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests with care, since they only have one use. For instance, it's a good idea to utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the best equipment available and keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you're planning on making. This is particularly applicable to items like trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The discount on the account is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality gear.
