Midi Bed With Storage

A midi bed with storage (more info here) (also known as cabin beds) provides the best of both worlds, providing kids a fun sleeping area with plenty of space to play and store their toys. Create a den for their favourite toys or use it as an outdoor parking area. With shelves that they can personalize and use as they wish.

Size

Midi beds are typically lower than high sleepers, and feature a smaller ladder or staircase. They are therefore perfect for smaller rooms. They are made up of only a single UK mattress and include a range of useful pieces underneath. From a clever desk that slides out into an open cupboard that is ready for totes to stylish drawer storage with a smooth, no-wobble operation.

Our midi cabin mid sleeper beds are available in a range of colors so you can choose one that will best mid sleeper cabin bed suit your child's bedroom. Some go even further and include a variety of bespoke storage unit. The desk can be moved between the two units with wheels. There are also four storage drawers and two cabinets that are equipped with doors. The Eli F takes it to the next level by having doors that match the color of the chosen head and foot board.

The Luna low-line loft bed or Midi-storage bed is small, and comes with everything you need. A ladder that can be rotated as well as a desk on wheels that slides into and out, and a three drawer cabinet and chest are all included. It can also be made in reverse such as with the ladder on the right hand side. You can ask for this in the store or add this option to the checkout.

Some midi loft beds that have storage have the desk already built into the bunk (as shown in the image above) and others, like our Luna midi bunk come with a ladder set on the right-hand side so that the desk can be placed at the left (please inquire in the store, or on the phone, or in the comments section while checking out in case this is important to you).

Most Midi loft beds require a standard UK Single mattress (3ft/90x190cm), with a wooden base. The cost of the bed does not include the mattress. We recommend looking at our mattress deals to find one that fits your budget.

Storage

A midi-cabin bed that has storage can be the ideal solution for a room for children that requires extra space. These multifunctional beds are lower than high sleepers, and come with an incline or ladder to make it easy to access. They are usually fitted with clever storage options, such as drawers, cupboards and desks that can be used to store books as well as toys and other things. Some midi loft beds even come with an attractive tent that transforms the sleeping area into a cosy space for activities, games and sleepovers.

Some of our midi-cabin beds come with the possibility of adding doors onto the drawers and cabinets. These are available in the exact same color as your headboard and head. Please ask in store, over the phone, or add a note to your purchase if this is something you require.

Mattress

Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk is equipped with a safety rail to give you security. Some models have a fabulous pull out trundle drawer for sleepovers or more storage space below the bed. They can be open or have doors (please check the product's specifications for more details).

Many midi cabins come with desks that can be moved from one level to the other or chests. This gives children the space they need to store all of their belongings. This also means that they don't have to take up floor space by putting up heavy shelving or wardrobes.

Some models have gone one step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted, or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is perfect for storing toys and books.
