Its smooth gliding motion is able to ease your baby bedside co sleeper back into sleep and its innovative features allow you to keep an eye on your baby without leaving your bed.

The cot's sliding side panel lifts and lowers with the press of a button, making it easy to reach in and soothe a crying baby at night. It also has 11 height adjustments that allow it to fit on the mattress of almost any size bed and it comes with adjustable feet that fold down to make sure that it is at the right height.

The cot is padded, features mesh sides for better the airflow, and the mattress is made of high-density foam for extra protection. It can also be cleaned which means you can keep the cot clean. It comes with a fitted mattress sheet that is suitable for a crib.

The Roomie Glide, unlike some other cribs for bed, is compatible with most beds including divans. This is thanks to the straps and clips which connect to it. It can be used as a standalone crib even when it's not attached to the bed. It comes with a variety of incredible features that were designed with parent and baby bonding in mind.

One thing to keep in mind is that although this crib is perfect for infants, it will not last long after your little one turns six months old, so you will need to invest in larger cots. Overall, Roanna felt that the Joie Roomie Glide was a very good purchase and she especially liked its sleek design.

The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna considered to be an affordable price for a cot with these advanced features. She also liked how it appeared in the bedroom and thought that the grey shade is a good fit for modern homes. She did mention that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby younger because it could create a bad sleep pattern for later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning bedside crib that was designed to ensure a peaceful night's sleep in mind. It has a drop side rail which can be easily lowered for nighttime feeds without having to wake your child or get them out of bed it's ideal for mothers who are breastfeeding! It's also lightweight, which makes it easy to move around the house during naps and when traveling.

We love that it's constructed from soft materials with breathable mesh sides that promote airflow and comfort. It is available in oak or charcoal with a variety of melange fabrics that can be incorporated with a variety of styles. Anna found that it was sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secured to ensure safety. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble it and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video or customer support number available if you encounter any problems.

The CoZee crib comes with all the features you would expect from a crib for your bedside cots, such as the ability to attach it to your bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. Additionally, there is an inclines feature that can be used to aid infants suffering from reflux or congestion. It is also machine-washable essential for all the dribbles and snot that come with a newborn baby!

If you're looking to keep your baby close during the first six months as they're able to go to sleep on their own The CoZee is a great choice as it can also be used as a stand-alone crib, changing table and toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa-bed extension pack, it can be transformed into an crib. Although it can't magically make your baby sleep or feed them, it can rock them and send them off.

This is one of the more expensive options. However, it has many great features. It can be used either a side-sleeper or as a standalone crib that is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It features a brand new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel. It's easy to use even with one hand. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels as well as retractable feet for a secure installation under any bed.

Our testers loved the easy access the side panel provides that can be moved up and down by pressing a button. This was an enormous help during night time feeds, as it meant they could easily reach inside and take their baby away without waking them.

It is possible to lower the side panel by itself, but this isn't advised, because it increases the chance that your child could be thrown out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism ensures that it will only stay down when attached to the bed of the parent correctly. This is an excellent feature to have for peace of mind, particularly if you're breastfeeding and require frequent nighttime feedings.

Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases and beds with drawers. The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, even with the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than some of the other side-sleepers but it's still quite mobile and can be moved from room room with ease. It's also small enough to fit in a travel bag when not in use which is a plus if you need to transport it. The only issue our testers have found is that the side panel did not move as much as other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to see the baby from your bed.

The Shnuggle Air

If you're in search of a crib for your bed that will expand with your child then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth considering. It's designed to be a sleep-co-sleeping bassinet that is attached to your bed and transform into a chic cot when your baby is ready, it's ideal for feeding your baby at night and growing your bond with your baby.

Contrary to other models of 4-in-1 bedside crib cribs The Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. The mesh side panels with dual-view and hypoallergenic, breathable airflow mattress allow for maximum airflow, keeping your baby comfortable and cool. A gentle incline option helps to ease reflux and colic and colic, while the zip-down side allows you to feed or soothe your baby at night.

The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you require to begin. It took us about an hour to put together and was relatively easy to put together. The only issue with the instructions was that some pictures did not have captions. This made it difficult to follow. The drop-down side makes it easy to feed or soothe babies during the night. This was a huge selling point for our exhausted test moms. The Joie Roomie Glide is a sleek and functional crib that doesn't rock nor has extra features like the sound machine.
