Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your house and create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate rooms, while an obstacle avoidance feature prevents it from running into furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These features are crucial in my house, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in a single session and even raise its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming damp. It can also avoid obstacles by looking for pets, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is the highest power of any other robot vacuum we've tested so far. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on an object.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system, which lifts the pad when it goes from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsed and dried in the dock and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is at the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a complete and robust product, with its only downsides being the fact that it's costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuum and mop. If you are able to justify the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combo. Its price is justified by its powerful features, which include the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It also includes a smart, app-enabled controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my testing it did very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floors and managing to lift long hair with no getting caught in. The mops were also excellent, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main highlight is its docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's many premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, that are bought separately, will need to be replaced regularly too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a smaller budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could buy however, its cost and frequent maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your hard floors. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity to power mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle-avoiding. It also comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself while moving, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire width of the robot and is continuously filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. When it turns the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage bin. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water, and it can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out of the box. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is simple to do in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you opt for this option, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot vacuums best brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs in my tests, but this may be rectified when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner, but it still has some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot vacuums with mop's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of a space before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean every area that is that this device maps or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like all the Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system works well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

The one glaring flaw of this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be an issue for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot vacuums that mop. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that lets you "clean up" at the conclusion of every vacuuming session.
