The Joie Roomie Glide is a bedside cot wooden crib that allows parents to co-sleep with their newborn whilst making sure they're safe. Its smooth gliding motion will help to ease your baby's sleep, and its innovative features let you keep an eye on your child without leaving your bed.

The sliding side panel of the crib can be raised and lowered with a simple pressing of a button. This makes it easy to reach inside and soothe a baby at night. It has 11 height adjustments to accommodate almost any mattress size and adjustable folding feet to ensure that it sits exactly at the right level.

In terms of safety the cot is cushioned and has mesh sides for better ventilation, while its mattress is made from high-density foam for extra protection. It's also washable so that you can keep it clean. Additionally, it comes with a fitted sheet that is suitable for the cot.

Unlike some other bedside cribs, the Roomie Glide is suitable for most beds, including divans, thanks to its straps and clip attachment. It can also be used as a standalone crib when not attached to the bed. It's full of amazing features that are created with the bonding of parents and children in mind.

One thing to bear in mind is that while this crib is great for newborns, it won't last long after your child is six months old, so you'll require larger cots. Overall, Roanna found that the Joie Roomie Glide was a excellent purchase and she especially liked its elegant design.

The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna felt was an affordable price for a cot with such innovative features. She also liked the way it was positioned in the bedroom and believed that its grey colour is a good fit for modern homes. However, she pointed out that it's not an ideal idea to rock a younger baby, as it can create the stage for bad habits that will affect later sleep patterns.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside baby sleeper crib is designed to provide an uninterrupted night's sleep. It has a drop side rail that is easily lowered for nighttime feeds without having to disturb your baby or get up it's ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It's also lightweight, which makes it easy to move around the house during nap time and when traveling.

We love the fact that it's made of soft materials that have mesh sides that are breathable, which promote airflow and ease of use. It is available in charcoal or oak with various melange fabrics that will blend with most decor styles. Anna found it sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed with the legs securely clicking into place and the zips secure for baby-safety. It took Anna about 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions, a video and a customer service number should you encounter any issues.

As well as the usual features you'd expect from a crib that is bedside crib with changing table such as the ability to connect to your bed using a stay-in-place connector system and six levels of height The CoZee also comes with an additional incline option which can be used to ease reflux or congestion in infants. It can also be washed by a machine and is a must for all the spills and vomit that accompany a new baby!

If you want to keep your baby close during the first six months as they're learning to sleep independently and independently, the CoZee is a great choice because it can be used as a stand-alone crib, changing table and toddler bed. It can be turned into a sofa bed with the addition of an extension pack. While it will not feed your baby or magically put them to sleep it will gently rock them and send them off!

This is one of Chicco's more expensive options, but it has a wide array of features. It's designed to function as a side sleeper or standalone crib, and is suitable for babies up to six months. It has a new mechanism to open and close the side panel. It's simple to use, even for one-handed operation. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels and feet that retract to installation under any bed.

Our testers were impressed with the simple access to the side panel that can be flipped up and down by pressing a button. This was a huge help in feedings at night because it meant they could easily reach inside and take their baby away without disturbing them up.

The side panel can be removed by itself, too however it isn't advised as it increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism ensures that it will only remain in place if it is connected to the bed of the parent correctly. This is an excellent feature to have for peace mind, especially if you're breastfeeding and require frequent nighttime feedings.

Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases or beds with drawers. It also comes with tilting functions to help babies who are refluxy and a rocking mode to soothe them back to sleep after eating. It's also extremely spacious and offers excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

Our test participants found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it comes with an extensive instruction manual. It's heavier than some of the other side-sleepers, but it's fairly mobile and can be moved from room room with ease. It's also foldable into a travel bag which is great when you need to transport it. The only negative our testers found is that the side panel did not flex as much compared to other models. This made it a little harder to see the baby from your bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air bedside rocking crib crib is a great choice when you're looking for a crib that can grow with your child. Designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that can be attached securely to your bed but also convert into a stylish cot when your baby is ready. It's ideal for feeding at night and growing your bond with your newborn bedside cot.

In contrast to other models of bedside crib The Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. The mesh side panels with dual-view and hypoallergenic, breathable airflow mattress allow for maximum airflow, keeping your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle incline helps reduce colic and reflux. The zip-down side lets you to feed your baby or comfort them at night.

The cot conversion kit is also well-designed with clear instructions. It includes everything you need. It took us around an hour to put together and was relatively simple. The only drawback to the instructions was that some images were not captioned. This made it difficult to follow the instructions. However, overall it was a simple procedure and the quality of the materials used was high.

The Shnuggle Air is a great option for women who are breastfeeding or have had an e-csection. It lets them reach out and hold their baby to comfort them and feeding without having to leave their bed. Although it doesn't rock, or come with extra features like an audio system, the Joie Roomie Slide's sleek design and functional features make it a great addition to our top crib reviews for bed.
