Anna discovered that the CoZee was a safe and comfy sleep space for her newborn. She loved that it didn't rock like some other models, so it didn't wake her at night while she was trying to soothe her baby for feeds. She also liked that the sides of the chair could be lowered so that she didn't have to reach over her partner to carry the child out to feed her at night.

The CoZee is available in oak and charcoal and is a beautiful addition to the bedroom. It looks more like a designer piece than some of the other cribs that we've tried, which appear rather utilitarian. It's also relatively lightweight at just 11kg and comes with a carry bag which allows you to take it with you on holiday or when you move your home. The only extras you require are a waterproof sheet and a co-sleeping safety strap. The instructions and pictures are simple to follow once you open the box.

The Iora is a bassinet for infants designed to help parents feel closer to their baby as they sleep. It adjusts upwards and downwards and can be moved through three slide positions to be placed next to the bed of the parent, or in the corner of the room, so that baby is always close at hand. The breathable mesh siding allows air to flow through and lets you glance at your little one. You can also store extra pajamas and supplies in the large storage basket beneath.

Unlike some other smaller bedside crib travel cot crib options, the Iora folds flat and comes with a bag for travel to allow it to be carried anywhere. Our mum testers were able to move it from room to room, and believed it was a great size for a small bedside cot, not too big or small. They also appreciated the large storage basket that is ideal for storing spare bedding or nappies.

This is a great option for parents who wish to co-sleep but don't want to share their bed. Also, if one of the partners has mobility issues such as arthritis or back pain. Our mom testers loved the ease with which they could access their baby in the Iora and that it came with an option to have a reflux incline which helped alleviate gas.

Our moms appreciate that the mattress follows NICE guidelines. They recommend placing the infant in the Moses basket or crib on its own, without blankets, toys or pillows. They also claim that the mattress is comfortable and firm for the baby and easy to find sheets for. It's not as light as some of the cribs that are smaller on our list, so if you prefer something lighter and easier to move, you can choose another option.
