WoW Upgrades - The item upgrading Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item upgrader mod by +3. A random extra substat is also added to every upgrade.

The more modernized gear generally has a more value in trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for those with lower requirements due to the need to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can be applied to Enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended to visit the upgrader every few weeks, to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current level of the gear being upgraded but they will always be cheaper than purchasing new gear from other sources. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items which can be used to upgrade weapons tools, armor, and other items. Players can purchase them from Item Upgrader Mod upgraders NPCs in a variety of currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor using an button, which will display an image of the item at its next upgrade level if the player has sufficient materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot for the item and the current level of the item. For example, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones. The new currency system isn't difficult to use, but it brings some changes to the upgrade process. Once a piece of gear reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This change is designed to allow players to upgrade their equipment up to the highest ilvl possible for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests have one purpose and it's crucial to use them properly. It is recommended to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the best gear you can find, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is especially relevant for items like trinkets and rings that fill several slots. The discount on the account will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with high-quality equipment.
