best robotic mop and vacuum (moved here) Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application that is specifically designed for. You can save maps of your house, organize cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles prevents it from running over wires, furniture, or stray toys. These features are crucial in my home filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It's able to sweep and mop in one session and even lift its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming damp. It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is the highest power of any robot vacuum we have test to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on a surface.

Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also features an automatic mop lifting system which lifts the pad when it goes from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent soaking these types of soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. You only need to replenish the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its standard vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only downside is that it's expensive. The number of features make it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can afford the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The price is justified by the robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops were also excellent in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the main selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag for dirt, fills up the water tank to use for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best robot cleaner performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. The mops of the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned out, and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will need to be changed periodically.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's important to note that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy, its high purchase cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a wish rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that will pick up dirt and dust on your floors while cleaning up wet mess then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power, an impressively large battery capacity to power both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacle-avoiding. It also comes with an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop mop that cleans itself as it moves and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and then pumped into a larger storage canister. The tank that is onboard can hold a good amount of water, and can take on up to a dozen mopping session before running out.

As with most robotic vacuums and mop sets The S1 Pro is ready to come out of the box. The S1 Pro will need to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. If you opt for this option, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot mop brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaning products.

Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map out a area and moved around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests, but this may be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level vacuum and mop however it has some outstanding features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides various options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clean of everything that is mapped by the device or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

The Qrevo did well in our tests, like the other Roborock models that we've evaluated. Its navigation system works well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized manner. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.

The machine has a major problem: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot hoover. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. The vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice touch and helps this robot make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
