The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

This is the model you need to choose if you want an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than other options on this list making it easier to maneuver in tight corners and under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar that, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, provides some of the best robotic mop and vacuum navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in robot vacuums. It's powered by a 4600mAh battery which can last up to 170 minutes when mopping and sucking are set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It will even return to the dock to replenish its battery halfway through a clean.

It's extremely efficient and does an outstanding job of cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms extremely quickly and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways in a single pass. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to clean dirt hair, pet hair, and even droppings with ease. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help pull out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance is less impressive, though not by a lot. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm sticks out a little more than other robots. This is helpful when getting into difficult corners or along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to pick up larger pieces of debris, like broken toys and books.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've tried. It is quieter and doesn't create more noise when vacuuming or mopping. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform its mopping function and is separate from the vacuum. It's easy to install and works well however, it's something you'll need to be aware of when you purchase this vacuum for the sole purpose of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful machine for cleaning with a wide range of features.

The device is equipped with an efficient cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the home and also identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean intelligently and methodically. This will ensure an efficient and consistent cleaning and is also fast.

In terms of mopping, Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads can reach an array of surface areas. This includes baseboards, corners and other difficult to reach places. The side brush can be stretched out to reach the floor near to the walls and other fixtures. The mop pads can also be washable and dry to reduce odors and prevent buildup.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our review, however it comes with some distinct features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its huge dock that serves as the robot's charging base and housing for two 4 liter water tanks, a cleaning sink as well as an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically empties.

The base also comes with a set of buttons to control the system. These let you manually start a cleaning job and then recall the robot or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock, which is a nice option for parents concerned about their children playing with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

The X1 can be prone to get stuck if it gets caught in an obstacle, such as a power cable tangled over a rug. It will not work until you manually untangle it. This was a rare occurrence however, it was a bit frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its application.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during a cleaning session. You will need to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't an issue aside from the fact that the mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between use which could lead to mildew or mold.

On the bright side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot hoover and mop, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a major change from the utilitarian black bases of competitors like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing appearance in a market that is dominated by clunky boxy models.
