Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops have become more capable, acing our tests for cleaning and taking on a variety of floor types. Find models that allow you to choose from a variety of modes, and use their charging docks to automatically empty, and clean up stairs.

A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules, and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of floors and rooms.

When I tested the S1, it was able to identify our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even cross thresholds that are raised without issue. However, it had some difficulty navigating down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rug.

After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for around 12 cleaning robot mop and vacuum sessions before it has to be emptied, though this can vary based on how much you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors frequently to avoid them from becoming clogged with dirt or dust. But, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one robotic cleaner and mop vacuum and mop provides an efficient solution for cleaning. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with a variety of advanced features like voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and eliminates obstacles. The mopping feature is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor, rather than simply moving the pad across it. The mops are cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops can also be refilled at the top of the station if they are required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is accomplished.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests well, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping power is enhanced by a side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a beat. It can easily move from one room to another without having to reverse direction which is a great feature for homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a wide margin between obstacles. This can lead to missing spots.

The app features a simple and intuitive interface that will be user-friendly for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, adjust mopping and suction power settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. You can control it via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. You will require a reliable internet connection to access the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing debris and dirt but it's not always able to get every last particle of dust. It's essential to clean your home frequently, every week. This is especially important for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to do just that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's less expensive because it doesn't have mopping capabilities and comes with a plastic body.

Although it's no longer able to mop floors, the Q5 has some of the best mopping and auto vacuum and mop performance we've seen from a robot in this price range. It has a suction power of 5500Pa and an auto vacuum and mop-empty system so you don't need to empty the bin by hand each time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and determine the floor type. It also features an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.

Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust, and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area rugs and carpets. However, it did not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising as it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home, which allows it to get into corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. This device also collects dust in a larger dustbin which means you have empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs. This robot can detect carpets, and increase suction if needed. The app also allows you to mark areas you want to stay clear of this is a useful feature.
