Yesterday, when i was accelerating to the fullest speed from highway paytoll, i experienced massive power loss like the engine is running out of gas or injectors aren't firing any more. I took out the spark plugs this morning, 3 were drenched in gasoline and the 4th was dry. I placed a tissue over each hole in the injector and when I start the engine with no sparks, the ones with gazoline jump right out. The 4th one remains closed. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I found zero ohm. I'm assuming the issue is somewhere else.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car can start if the G28 is disconnected and it runs perfectly when it is connected however it is experiencing intermittent misfires at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature of that is -49c even after unplugging it. Also i noticed that the oil pressure gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.0 if i crank up the engine.
I don't know what to do. I feel like i've pretty much all other possibilities out. I'm afraid i may have missed something. Let me know If you have any suggestions! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump in the g28 can be activated by a signal by the RPM sensor. The GM-style transmitter is identical to the G4 and they both work in the 80 100 200, UrS and RS2 cars so you can easily find one at a wrecking yard or in a local parts store.
