Path of Exile Item Upgrading

Item upgrading allows players to enhance their weapons and equipment with new affixes, increasing its stats base or giving additional benefits. To upgrade an item, the player needs to have it in their inventory as well as access to the kiln.

Usually, items with weak bases (like rings) can be upgraded to a more powerful base while items with strong bases such as eth titans aren't affected significantly in their stats after being upgraded.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools. They give you an attribute benefit, or extra effect, while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, retrieved in loot from enemies, or gotten from chests or missions. Some upgrades additionally have special cosmetic effects. Most upgrades require that the equipment be at a certain level to upgrade.

To upgrade an item upgrader of armor, the player has to choose it and click the Upgrade button on the toolbar. This will display a preview on the right side of the screen that shows what the expected upgrade stats will be as well as the necessary element or material required to complete the upgrade.

There are three kinds of upgrade components: universal upgrades, prefix upgrades, and suffix upgrades. Universal upgrades, such as gems, can be used on any kind of equipment. Leveling

Rerolling
