It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it's not able to lock tight when folded. It is easy to maneuver however, and can be able to fit through narrow 28-inch doors.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are looking for a secondary stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored high in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions. This means it's lightweight, compact when folded, and easy to lift and store in a trunk of a car. It also comes with the option of reclining in multiple positions and a cup holder for the parent. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that absorb shock.

In our test of the single push chair and turn, it did better than many of the other strollers that we tested, but it's still not the most maneuverable on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the tiniest of strollers we test. They only cover the top, and do not feature peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together using an average manual and all of the components required tools. It's missing some features that we consider essential in double strollers. This includes an extra-large basket, reclining seats and adjustable leg rests.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward position and can also pivot. This is helpful in rough terrain. While walking through the stony trail, we let them move and it handled this fairly well, though it did appear more bumpy than the other models in our test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most famous for its three-wheeled, all-terrain, strollers for jogging. However, they also make a broad variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is easy to fold and fits into the trunk of a car even with an attached carrycot.

It weighs more than other strollers we've tested, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels solid and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains and even with two kids with shopping bags and other items.

The seat and carrycot both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, however it does have a large basket that's large enough to fit a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. You can also use it with the Baby Jogger car seat that is suitable for babies who weigh 20 pounds or less (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you are looking for a stroller that is able to be taken on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent choice.
