It's designed to function as a side sleeper or a standalone crib, and is suitable for babies up to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel thanks to a brand new mechanism. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels and feet that retract to installation under any bed.

Our testers loved the easy access the side panel provides that can be lowered and raised by pressing the button. This was particularly helpful at night, as they could reach inside and pick their baby up without disturbing them.

The side panel can be removed on its own, but it's not recommended since it increases the risk of your baby falling out of the cot. The safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will only remain in place when it is connected correctly to the mattress of the parent. This is an excellent feature to have in place for peace of mind, especially if you're breastfeeding and require frequent feedings at night.

Telescopic legs enable the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases as well as beds with drawers. It has a tilting feature to help reflux babies, and a rocking function to help soothe them to sleep after a feeding.
