French Door Refrigerator With Ice Maker Review

This fridge is a great option, despite the slight blip. It has a large freezer compartment, which is quite uncommon in counter-depth French door fridges, and it holds a good amount of frozen foods compared to similar models.

The fridge comes with 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment has 18.5 cubic feet, which is typical for a French-door refrigerator at this price. It has a decent sized freezer in the left side. However it's not the biggest one I've seen.

You can alter the shelving in each compartment to create a customized storage arrangement for the items you need to store. The GE PYE22PYNFS's design for the interior is attractive, too. The LED lighting adds an attractive feature. The storage bins in the door come with a third shelf that can be folded down to store tall objects. The drawers have temperature controls so you can set them to Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, however I found their plastic textured coatings to be a little difficult on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator has all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator within this price range. This includes Wi-Fi as well as app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is available on iOS and Android devices and lets you manage your refrigerator from anywhere across the globe. It also offers numerous options for customizing. It also gives you notifications when doors are left open, when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted and when it's time to change the filter.

It is nice if GE PYE22PYNFS could offer Precise Fill the option that is that is available in a few GE refrigerators that allow users to set how many cups they want to dispense. It does have a countdown feature on the fridge display to display how much water you have remaining, but that's not as helpful as Precise fill.

This fridge was rated the top in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained stable at just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and never fluctuating more than a fraction a degree--this is key to avoiding freezer burn. The refrigerator section of the fridge also did well. It reached the temperature it was set within an hour, and maintained the temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch is a household name for its top-quality appliances. Therefore, it's no surprise that the Bosch counter depth refrigerator can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's Home Connect. This app lets you monitor and manage your fridge remotely using your tablet or smartphone. The fridge is expensive and has great features and functions at a reasonable price.

While the fridge is an incredible piece of equipment but it's important to be aware of the limitations. You might need to be inventive with tall items since the fridge has a limited shelf space. Also the shelves aren't impervious to sprills and could be stained or damaged by sharp objects. The trays are easily removed from the fridge. However, they should be cleaned frequently to stop the growth of mold.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth refrigerator is a great choice for those who require lots of space within an extremely compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge is built with a standard French door layout, with two rows of spill-capture shelving and a set crisper drawers. The top shelf to the right can be folded down to make space for tall items. There's also a full-width storage drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the nice features of this refrigerator is that the ice maker is in the freezer, which makes it simple to move the ice to the refrigerator to use as needed. The freezer is designed with thoughtful elements, too, like sliding drawers that can help you better organize the position of items. It also has a large container for storing frozen food and a separate one for ice.

Another great feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can manage the temperature, lighting, and more of your fridge from your smartphone. It's a great way to monitor and manage your refrigerator, particularly if you're away from home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat however it doesn't enhance the performance of the fridge. This fridge took longer to defrost food and chill it than other models we tried. This could be due to the bigger capacity.

The doors are a different issue with this fridge. They have sunken handles at the front, which allows shorter people to easily open them from the bottom, but they're not easy for taller people to steer shut without slamming them. It would have been much better if they had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a ideal option for those looking to combine the benefits of a Slim French Door Fridge freezer-door refrigerator's aesthetics with a more efficient layout. Its capacity is higher than average for a counter-depth model and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also a bit cheaper than the best counter depth refrigerator that comes with an ice maker, which makes it a great option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good choice if you want a French-door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It's a minimalist design that isn't as visually striking like some of the competitors, but it has enough features to make it a good option. Its most notable feature is the adjustable temperature drawer, helps to keep food items like meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also has a large ice maker as well as a water dispenser.

Another feature that is worth mentioning is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. This drawer allows you to use a portion of the refrigerator's cooling power to this area so that you can store foods that require special attention. You can adjust this feature by using a slider that's located right on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this feature to adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge, but I've noticed that adjusting the generic settings tends to have a better effect than specific ones.

During my tests, I found that the temperatures in the refrigerator were fairly consistent across different areas of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator did not differ much from 38 degrees. This is a solid performance, but doesn't quite make it to the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer to get more precise measurements of your fridge's internal temperature.

The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's outside is made of stainless steel with a grey-bodied body which has a "smudge-proof" finish. It wards off streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've tested.
