This type of handle is made for uPVC doors with multipoint locks that operate with a split spindle operation. This type of operation requires that the lever handle and external pad handle are both fitted to the same lock case. It is a simple change from the current uPVC handles but it may also require a change to the lock case or a new set of handle furniture to allow for this additional function.
