UPVC Replacement Door Handles

As time passes, the handles on your doors will wear down and require replacement. When replacing them, it is important that the new handles match the dimensions of the previous handle.

Inline Lever/Lever

Spring Cassette

The spring cassette is located in the base of your door handle's backplate, supplying a spring-loaded solution to return your multipoint lock handles to their rest position after using. There was a time when these types of handle did not have a spring built into them, and as a result, they tend to droop or drop once the locking mechanism is disengaged. This simple component is the best way to address this issue. It also stops your upvc door from becoming stuck in the closed or open position, as they are difficult to close manually.

These spring cassettes are specifically designed for use with multipoint locks that are sprung, they will not fit multipoint handles that are not sprung and you will need to have a hole specifically cut in your backplate in order for them to fit (please check the image for a technical diagram). These cassettes are a solution to broken or missing cassettes that are in the backplate of uPVC door handles. They are available as a single unit. They come with a square cut out that is able to accommodate an 8mm shaft.
